About the Instructor & the Workshop

Since 1992, I've served the state of California as a professional civil engineer, and I've been sharing my knowledge since 1994. In 1998, I began to offer the civil surveying review course in the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay areas. 


Due to my vast experience and style of delivery, the passing rate has been at least 90% . The referral rate to the workshop is well over 97%.

Educational Background
My educational background consists of earning a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1985, and a M.S. in Civil Engineering in 1987. Both degrees are from the University of New Orleans.

    How often do you offer workshops?

        We plan on offering the workshops once a year. Please visit our website periodically to check for the latest schedules.

    Can I purchase the pre-recorded webinar?
    Can I pay the registration fee with a credit card?
    Do I get a certificate of completion?

        Yes, the certificates will be handed out during the last workshop. If it is needed sooner, please contact us.

    When is the dead line to register?

        There is no dead line. However, we would like to know ASAP so that the correct number of books may be ordered.

    Do I have to purchase the "Practice Exam?"

        No, if you are signed up for the workshop, as part of the registration fee, you will receive a copy of the practice exam.

    What do I need to bring with me to the class?

        Papers to take notes, engineer's scales, and most definitely a calculator. We will be doing lots of calculations.

    The other vendor claims a passing rate of close to 100%. Why is yours not that high?

        Ours is about 90%. Based on my experience, there is no vendor that has this high of a passing rate. Also, over the years, number of candidates who did not pass the test by taking other vendors' workshops register with us and successfully pass the test.

    I would like to purchase the practice exam book, how soon can I get it?

        The book is mailed via US Priority Mail. If needed faster, please contact us for alternative shipping methods.

    How much homework do you assign, and do I have to turn them in?

        There are definitely homework assignments per week. However, nothing to be turned in.

    If I'm not qualified yet can I transfer my application to the upcoming session?

        Yes. Please know that there is a $50 transfer fee which must be paid before the next session.

    Can I view the recordings on my cellphone?

        The answer is: Yes, you can watch the recordings on your cellphones and tablets.

    What is the registration fee for returning students?
    How do you conduct your webinars?

        We cover all chapters, over 90% of the problems are solved, the remaining 10% are set up to be completed by the students.

    Can the recordings be fast forwarded?

        Unfortunately, no. These recordings are hosted by the Adobe Connect Servers, which means I cannot give the option of fast forward.
